PTA

Welcome to the PTA

The Cookham Dean School PTA is a registered charity set up to raise much needed funds for the school.  All parents of children at the school automatically become members of the PTA and your input and assistance on fundraising events throughout the year is very much appreciated.

 

The current officers of the PTA are:

 

  • Wendy Grice, Chair
  • Rachel Tilley, Deputy Chair
  • Kelli Dickinson, Treasurer
  • Jackie Paton, Secretary

 

We use an online communication tool called PTA Social to help us to communicate more directly with parents and keep them up to date with all the latest news and events. It gives parents an opportunity to volunteer their help in an easy, transparent format. If you have not already signed up to PTA Social, use the link below. 

PTA Meetings:

PTA meetings are usually held once per half term and the date/time will be communicated through PTA Social and the Class Reps.  The meetings are an opportunity to hear about what funds have been raised to date, what funds have been spent on and to discuss/agree the projects the PTA is raising funds for over the coming year.

 

The next meeting will be on Thursday 22nd February 2018 at 2pm.

Summer Fete 2018 - Planning Meeting

 

This year's Summer Fete will be held on Saturday 23rd June from 12 noon to 3pm.  This event is the largest fundraiser of the year and takes a lot of planning to make it successful and enjoyable for all.  The initial planning meeting was held on Friday 26th January and the Minutes are included below.

 

The next meeting is due to be held on Friday 23rd March, please come along and help get this brilliant event off the ground.
