Pupils for Praise, a group of Y6 volunteers, meet weekly, with Rev Jo Ellington attending fortnightly to support, guide and listen.  P4P contribute to collective worship, introduce RE initiatives across the school and discuss key questions regarding faith exploring their own thoughts and opinions. In 2023 P4P ran an afternoon from R to Y6 based on the theme of Easter: role play, drama, photography, story, art and writing options were available as the children enthusiastically explored the theme. Early this academic year, the P4P were very excited to be involved in the interview process for the new vicar, asking well thought out questions.  In November 2023, P4P led the Sunday Christingle Service to a full St John the Baptist Church.

Over the next few months, P4P will continue to be busy: contributing to a review and improvement of spirituality across the school; leading an RE whole school afternoon; leading collective worship and improving the outdoor reflection area.
