We are pleased to have introduced mindfulness into Cookham Dean in 2018. This means that the children follow a programme that informs them about their brain and how to relieve their brains from stress. Every day the children have at least 3 brain breaks which consists of the children listening to a chime, the teacher saying a mantra and them focusing on their breathing. All staff have been trained in mindfulness and parents have had an opportunity to find out more from our Mind Up consultant, Claire Farrell.
