We are looking to appoint an aspiring Deputy Headteacher with SENCO qualification or an interest in qualifying, who is an excellent and inspirational classroom practitioner. Your role will be to support our Headteacher and to help move the school forward by building on its current successes, through strong leadership, strategic thinking and a creative approach to teaching. There will be a teaching commitment with this role.

Caretaker

Required: As soon as possible

Permanent contract

Pay scale 2c point 3-4

(Actual salary £7,651 to £7,771pa or £637-£647 per month)

Part Time – 12.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term time only

with some holiday work as required

Hours of work: 7.00-8.30am to open and then 5.30-6.30pm to close school

plus flexible hours to suit during the day

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, caring and hard-working person to join our small, friendly and supportive team as soon as possible.  Good communication, interpersonal and DIY skills are essential. 

You will be responsible for the security of the premises, general maintenance work and repairs, health and safety issues relating to the buildings and porterage duties.  It is essential that you are capable of regular bending, lifting and carrying of equipment, materials and furniture and able to climb ladders.

There will need to be a degree of flexibility around certain key events in the school calendar, e.g. parents evening, governing body meetings, school fairs etc.

To work in our busy school, you must be positive, hardworking and have a strong commitment to high standards of service delivery and customer care.
