Pupils for Praise, a group of Y6 volunteers, meet weekly, with Rev Jo Ellington attending fortnightly to support, guide and listen.  P4P contribute to collective worship, introduce RE initiatives across the school and discuss key questions regarding faith exploring their own thoughts and opinions. In 2023 P4P ran an afternoon from R to Y6 based on the theme of Easter: role play, drama, photography, story, art and writing options were available as the children enthusiastically explored the theme. In the 2024 academic year, the P4P were very excited to be involved in the interview process for the new vicar, asking well thought out questions.  In November 2023, P4P led the Sunday Christingle Service to a full St John the Baptist Church. P4P also devised and analysed results of a whole school RE and collective worship questionnaire for all pupils the results of which the staff will be acting on in 2024 - 2025. P4P finished the year with a 3 day prayer space which they helped plan, organise, set up and run. The whole school took part and enjoyed the peace and calm where they could pray to God in a variety of creative ways.
