Pupils for Praise, a group of Y6 volunteers, meet weekly, with Rev Sophie attending most weeks to support, guide and listen. P4P contribute to collective worship, introduce RE initiatives across the school and discuss key questions regarding faith exploring their own thoughts and opinions. P4P has been running for many years and have been involved in many initiatives e.g. a whole school Easter activity afternoon. Since September 2025, P4P have led Sunday services at St John the Baptist - Christingle and Mother's Day - both of which were very well attended. They have maintained the reflective garden; helped lead daily worship; helped lead change in collective worship, meeting with Mrs Reekie to suggest ways to improve engagement and enjoyment; discussed religious questions with Rev Sophie; helped lead Wild Worship with R and KS1; organised, including choosing the activities, and helped lead the Prayer Space Advent/Christmas 2025. The focus areas for the rest of the year until July 2026 are; the Father's Day service at St John the Baptist church; Wild Worship planning and undertaking; completing new additions to the reflective garden.
